Hu spoke with Obama

After it was announced that Chinese President Hu Jintao will attend a multi-nation summit on nuclear security at the White House later this month despite tense U.S.-Sino relations, Hu spoke with President Obama by telephone late Thursday night for an hour. Reportedly, Hu "appealed for 'healthy and stable' relations between the two nations" while Obama pushed Hu to cooperate with the United States and other countries and impose sanctions on Iran./Kinesisk media
