Obama and Medvedev reach agreement

President Obama and his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev will meet in Prague, Czech Republic, on April 8 to sign to a nuclear treaty that cuts the number of deployed nuclear weapons by 25%, the White House announced this morning.
The announcement, which had been expected, comes as Obama spoke by telephone with Medvedev this morning. A formal announcement of the treaty is expected during a briefing by top Obama officials later in the day.
