Radioamatör nyheter

(Det finns bevisligen radioamatörer som läser min blogg). -----------------------------------------------------------
After very successful activities from Norfolk Island (VK9DNX 2007, over 60.000 QSOs) and Willis Island (VK9DWX 2008, 95.000 QSOs) the team of ZL8X announces a new DXpedition to Kermadec Island (ZL8) in Nov 2010.
The core team from VK9D*X plus additional high experienced operators (DJ5IW, DJ7EO, DJ9RR, DK1II, DL1MGB, DL3DXX, DL5CW, DL5LYM, DL5XL, DL6FBL, DL8OH, DL8WPX, SP5XVY) will operate seven high power stationsfrom 160m-10m in CW, SSB and RTTY for about 17 days.---------------------------------------------------------------

Visits to the Kermadec islands are restricted by the Department of Conservation (New Zealand). The Department allows visits to Raoul by volunteers assisting in environmental restoration or monitoring projects, and other visitors engaged in nature study. Visits to the other islands are generally restricted to those engaged in scientific study of the islands.
