The red-tops are split over what to make of Cheryl Cole's The X Factor USA debut. The Daily Mirror gives a tentative thumbs up to the Geordie star, calling her 'a hit ... even though her Geordie accent left several contestants tongue-tied'. The Sun is more certain, describing how Cole 'dazzled' the US audience with a debut 'triumph'. However, the Daily Star spoils the party, saying 'terrified' Cole 'got off to a shaky start on X Factor USA with a dodgy hairdo and a fellow judge asked: "Who are you?"' Ooh er!
