Naomi Campbell Under Fire Over Blood Diamonds

International war-crimes prosecutors would like to have a conversation with supermodel Naomi Campbell (bilden) about a "half dozen" blood diamonds she allegedly received from former Liberian dictator Charles Taylor in 1997, ABC News reports. Prosecutors at the Special Court for Sierra Leone in the Netherlands have asked to subpoena Campbell about the diamonds, which her former agent claims she was given after a dinner at Nelson Mandela's house. (Campbell and the woman, Carole White, are also entangled in a separate lawsuit.) Mia Farrow, who was also at the dinner, corroborated the story, telling ABC that Campbell was disappointed that the diamonds were uncut and told Farrow that she planned to donate them to Nelson Mandela Children's Fund. Farrow is expected to be called as a witness. Charles Taylor is currently on trial in the Netherlands for funding a rebellion with money from diamond trafficking. Campbell denied accusations earlier this year, "slap[ing] an ABC News producer's camera aside" when the issue was raised. /ABC News
