Education Is a Key Predictor of Emotional Health After 65‏

Americans aged 65 and older with a college education are more likely to have better emotional health than are people in this age group with less education. Within this age group, men tend to have better emotional health than women, and among racial and ethnic groups, Hispanics have the worst emotional health.

Being married does not appear to improve older Americans' emotional health.
