Leaning towers are more common than one might think. The city of Bad Frankenhausen in the eastern German state of Thuringia also has one. It tilts at an angle of 4.8 degrees, but is significantly taller, at 53 meters (174 feet). If the rules are changed to include not just the angle, but the margin by which the tower deviates from the vertical, then the tower could be the new record holder.
