Nato admits women's deaths in air strikes

Nato officials in Afghanistan have admitted that least eight woman have been killed in an airstrike in the east of the country that was targeting a large group of insurgents.
While earlier today four American troops have been killed by Afghans wearing police uniforms. Coming the day after two British soldiers were shot dead by an Afghan policeman in Helmand that now brings the number of Nato troops killed by their supposed Afghan allies to more than 50 this year.
As Carl Dinnen reports, the Afghan police are now considered so unreliable that the US has suspended the training of all new recruits to the force while its existing members are re-vetted. What does all this mean for the chances of a pull out by 2014?
