The Obama administration, concluding that the Syrian government used chemical weapons against the rebels, will begin supplying the opposition for the first time with small arms and ammunition, officials said.

Haven't we learned not to get involved in a country's civil war by now? How many times do we have to be defeated, how many more Americans are going to have to die and how much money do we have to spend to see that there is nothing in this war for our people and our country? McCain and the rest of these Republican war mongers have never seen a war they didn't like. To hell with spending our money on insuring Americans, but they are all for spending money on more war. Iran is the real target. If Iraq was hard, Iran will be harder: a large country with over 80 million people. Of course, McCain will tell us the Iranians will welcome us in. Oh yeah, just like the Iraqis did Senator. Let the Syrians fight it out. Let the Saudis send in their men to fight a proxy war with Iran. If the French want to get involved, cheers and good luck. But keep us out of this one and until we pay for our last two wars, don't get us involved in another one.
