Dynasty was one of the biggest series of the 1980s. Now Joan Collins, who played shoulder pad wearing super-bitch Alexis Colby, has said she'd love to return to the role in a remake. Collins, who was in the series from 1981 to 1989 said she has remained in contact with writer Esther Shapiro who she says has written a "top, top secret" script to bring Dynasty back. Eighties rival Dallas has already made a comeback complete with star Larry Hagman, who played stetson wearing oil baron JR Ewing. However, she admitted that Dynasty's return would be hampered because leading man John Forsythe, who played Blake Carrington, died last year. Sun. TVbiz, P1
