‘Mamma Mia!’ at Morrison Center

This international smash musical — spun from Swedish group ABBA’s hits — will play for three shows at the Morrison Center. The original ABBA songwriting team of Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus strung together the group’s hits — such as “Waterloo” and the title song “Mamma Mia” — to create the musical in 1999. It tells the story of Tanya (Alison Ewing), the daughter of former ’70s girl-group pop star Donna Sheridan (Kaye Tuckerman, pictured), who wants to find her father. She reads her mom’s diary and finds three potential dads and invites them to her impending wedding — without telling Mom.

Jag kommer inte på någon/några//något som har gjort bättre reklam för Sverige i Amerika (både syd och nord) än ABBA.
