MEZZO (den förnäma franska teve-kanalen) firar Beethoven Stort

 

We bring Beethoven's 250th Anniversary celebration to a fitting close with an entire week dedicated to the composer! 

On Mezzo, from December 12 to 20: The Complete Piano Sonatas performed by Daniel Barenboim (PREMIERE), the Complete Symphonies and Concertos by some landmark artists of today and yesterday (Karajan, Bernstein, Zimerman, Thielemann, Blomstedt, Buniatishvili, Mutter…), the Complete String Quartets by The Belcea Quartet, Fidelio filmed in Vienna earlier this year, the Missa Solemnis by Nikolaus Harnoncourt and 3 great choreographies after the composer's oeuvre by John Neumeier, Maurice Béjart and Thierry Malandain.
