SUWANEE, Ga. — A gunman has barricaded himself inside a home here and is holding five Gwinnett County firefighters hostage, authorities say.
The firefighters responded to a medical call at the home Wednesday, Gwinnett County Police Cpl. Edwin Ritter said. Police are unsure of the gunman's motive, they say.

Later: Authorities said a gunman who took four Georgia firefighters hostage Wednesday afternoon has been shot dead and that all the hostages are slightly injured but should be OK.
