De allra flesta artiklarna är "Free Full text", några kräver dock prenumeration och bara en "introduktion" (= artikelns hundra första ord) är gratis.
För egen del har NEJM:s artiklar blivit ett förnämligt studiematerial till min livslånga fortsättningskurs i engelska. Om bara en liten del av det medicinska innehållet fastnat som det ska i mitt gamla huvud, så förbättras iaf min engelska. Det finns också medicinska ordlistor på nätet varför det bör inte vara problem med praktiskt taget en enda glosa.
Det är mao inte bortkastad tid att hänge sig åt en eller annan NEJM-artikel; jag garanterar detta. Denna gång har "min" artikel blivit (förutom som alltid bilder/bildtexter i de andra artiklarna) "Global Health: Can We Treat Cancer for a Dollar a Day?...", en högintressant artikel inte bara ur språksynpunkt (rekommenderas). Se, om inte annat, artikelns inledande rader om cancerns omfattning.
